Cheesy Garlic French Fries

I was very perplexed when I stumbled upon this recipe because I had always heard of loaded fries, but only at restaurants. I also love both a lot of toppings or even very little. This is a good casual recipe for lunch time or even a side dish for dinner. This is also a flexible recipe that you can make many additions to or take away from. Enjoy!

Ingredients

  • 5 cloves of garlic (finely minced) $2-3
  • 1 tsp salt $2-3
  • 1 bag of french fries (use your favorite brand) $3-4
  • 2 tbsp canola oil $2-3
  • 1/2 cup of grated parmesan cheese $3-4

Servings: 6-7

Cost: $10-15

Directions

  1. Cook the fries according to the instructions on package.
  2. Put cooked fries in a large bowl.
  3. Put oil in a large pan on medium-high heat.
  4. Cook the garlic for 30 seconds or so, not long enough to brown.
  5. Add oil and garlic mixture to fries in bowl and toss.
  6. Add cheese and salt and toss once more.
  7. Serve!
